At the semi-final stage, the national teams of the Central and Pacific divisions, as well as the Capital and Atlantic, meet each other. The winners of each match will meet in the final to determine the winner of the tournament. The duration of each match is 20 minutes. After 10 minutes of each match, the teams change goals. In a tie after 20 minutes, the winner is determined in a series of shootouts.
Definition of formulations
Voting by fans for the captains of each division started on December 2, 2016 and lasted until January 2, 2017. [2] Before that, the league forbade voting for injured or farm players in order to avoid a repeat of last year’s situation with John Scott . [3]
The winners were: Carey Price (Atlantic Division), Sidney Crosby (Capital Division), Pi Key Subban (Central Division), Connor McDavid (Pacific Division). [4] The full lineups of players and coaches were announced on January 10, 2017. [five]

Superskills Contests
On January 28, mastery contests were held. In 2017, competitions were held between divisions, and not between conferences as it was before. It was also decided not to hold a competition for the most spectacular performance of a shootout, it was replaced by the contest “Testing with four lines”. [8] The team that won the Super Skills gets the right to choose an opponent in the semifinals of the match of stars. [9]
Hockey Relay
The mastery relay consists of five elements. One-touch throws from three different points, accuracy of the pass, puck control, club possession and goalkeeper goals. It is necessary to complete all the elements in the least time. The winner of each pair gets 1 point, the team that shows the best time of all gets a bonus point.
