Finko, Oleg Anatolyevich

After defending his Ph.D. thesis in 1995 at the Krasnodar Higher Military Command and Engineering School of Rocket Forces, he taught a number of disciplines in the same place, and since 1999 - at the KVVU named after CM. Shtemenko .

In 2005 he defended his doctoral dissertation ( Serpukhov Military Institute of Missile Forces ), was appointed professor of a special department. The academic title “Professor” (in the Department of Information Security) was awarded in 2009.

He heads the direction: “Algebraic methods of processing and protecting information”, manages doctoral students and adjuncts of various forms of training, prepared more than 15 candidates and one doctor of science.

One of the organizers of the first International Scientific Conference on modular arithmetic and its application in various fields ^{[2] [3] [4]} .

Member of the program committees of a number of All-Russian and International scientific conferences ^{[5] [6] [7] [8] [9]} .

His works relate to the areas of: information security and parallel computing in algebraic structures, functional control and ensuring the fault tolerance of processing tools, including confidential information, integrity control and data protection .

The author of the direction in the field of computer algebra: “ Modular arithmetic of parallel logic computing ” ^{[10] [11]} , which is at the “junction” of the algebra of logic and comparison theory ( modular arithmetic ), as well as its applications for solving problems of functional diagnostics of digital devices for special purposes ^{[12] [13] [4]} .

He proposed a number of theoretical and innovative (inventions) solutions for ensuring the integrity and imitation of information based on the joint use of cryptography and noise-resistant coding methods ^[14] . More than 100 scientific works ^{[1] [15] [14]} and 20 inventions ^{[16] [17]} .
