Hero of Socialist Labor (1973). Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus. Member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 8th convocation. Member of the Supreme Council of the Belarusian SSR of the 12th convocation (1990-1996).

Biography

She was born in 1918 in a large peasant family in the village of Zacherevye (today - Miorsky district , Vitebsk region). As a teenager, she worked as a nanny, was engaged in farm laborement. During the occupation, she fought in the partisan detachment named after Kotovsky. She was injured.

After the war, she was chairman of the Chapaev collective farm in the Braslav region. Then she was in party and government positions - the chairman of the Braslavsky District Council of People's Deputies, the first secretary of the Plis District Party Committee, the chairman of the Dokshitsky District Council of People's Deputies, the first secretary of the Dokshitsky District Party Committee.

As the first secretary of the Dokshitsy district executive committee, she brought the region to the forefront in agricultural production in Belarus. If before its appointment, the average grain yield in the district was about 4–6 hectares of grain per hectare, then during its leadership the yield increased to 31 centners per hectare [1] .

By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated December 12, 1973, she was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the awarding of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle Medal.

In November 1974 she was appointed deputy minister of social security of the BSSR.

She was elected a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus, a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 8th convocation and a deputy of the Supreme Council of the BSSR of the 12th convocation from the Belarusian Republican Organization of Veterans of War, Labor and Armed Forces [2] (member of the Secretariat of the Third Session [3] and member of the Commission for Affairs veterans, labor and the Armed Forces [4] ).
