Eduard Antonovich Karpovich (born in 1924 , Minsk) is a turner of the Belorusenergoremont production repair enterprise of the Ministry of Energy and Electrification of the USSR, the mountains. Minsk, Byelorussian SSR. Hero of Socialist Labor (1971).

Biography
Born in 1924 in a working-class family in Minsk. He participated in the Great Patriotic War. He fought as a gunner in the defense of Leningrad. After demobilization he returned to Minsk. Since 1947 - turner repair company "Belenergoremnaladka" (later - "Belorusenergoremont") in Minsk.
He fulfilled ahead of time the production targets of the Eighth Five-Year Plan and his personal socialist obligations. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 20, 1971, he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Sickle and Hammer gold medal.
He completed the Tenth Five-Year Plan in four years. He was the initiator of the socialist competition "Repair of power plants in three days." He was elected a deputy to the district Soviet of People’s Deputies and a member of the Pervomaisky District Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus.
