It is located in the historical region of Bosnia , northeast of Lebanese Field , from which it is separated by the Golia and Staretina mountains. The length of the polia is 48 km, the width is 12 km. Height above sea level: 882–950 m. It is divided into Upper and Lower Poland. The underground river Ribnik flows along the Upper Field, and the Vrba and Yaruga along the Lower Field. In winter and spring floods are not uncommon. Livestock is developed. There are many villages within the borders of Poland, the main of which is Glamoch [1] . The name Glamoch has been mentioned since the XIV century, and its origin is probably associated with the name of the Serbluzhitsky tribe of Glomaches . One of the Serbian tribes, presumably in the 7th century, settled on Glamochkom Pole [2] .
Russian Slavic A. F. Hilferding described this place in the 19th century, during his trip to the Balkans [3] :
| ... Glamochsky field. This is a high, smooth, cold mountain plain, which extends for 6 hours ... The robbers nested in large numbers before, and now they have not survived, in Glamochsky and neighboring territories. |
