Geography
The village is located on the river Avlashka , 26 kilometers south-west of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny .
History
Founded in the 18th century under the name Upper Avlash. Until the 1860s, residents were classified as state farmers . Engaged in farming, cattle breeding, beekeeping, tailoring. According to 1870, there was a water mill in Avlas. Until 1920, the village was part of the Betkinsky volost of Menzelinsky district, Ufa province . Since 1920 as part of Menzelinsky , since 1922 - Chelny cantons of the TASSR . From August 10, 1930 in Chelny , from November 1, 1972 in Zainsky , from December 26, 1977 in Tukayevsky districts [1] .
