Geography
The village is located 6 km southeast of Minsk , on the left bank of the Trostyanka River (a tributary of the Svisloch River), which forms the Stayki reservoir near the village.
The village is located on the N9050 highway, 3 km west of the M4 highway.
History
After the 2nd division of the Commonwealth in 1793, the village became part of the Russian Empire . Since 1919 it is included in the Byelorussian SSR [2] .
During the Second World War it was occupied by the Germans [2] .
In 2009, it was assumed that the village would become a new residential neighborhood of Minsk [3] , but after making changes to the general plan of the city in 2015, this project was canceled [4] .
