According to the father’s stories, the grandfather as a little boy was allegedly taken out of the Caucasus by Loris-Melikov and sent to the Shlyakheti, 1st St. Petersburg Cadet Corps, then, probably, he was in the “school of guards sub-ensigns and cavalry cadets” (Nikolaev Cavalry Military School) and left to the cavalry regiment, in which, I don’t know, but apparently for a long time he served in the Yamburg Ulansky " ^[1] .

Service: in the Volga cavalry regiment of the Terek Cossack Army (on 1.12.1879-1.02.1880), was assigned to the army cavalry (until 1.11.1881-after 1.03.1882).
