Biography
Zulfugar-bey Mirza Ali Akber oglu Bagirbekov was born in 1884 in Shusha. He came from the family of the Hajili of the Javanshir-Dizak Magal [1] . Member of the Russian-Japanese war . In the Niva magazine for 1905, No. 25, page 496, a photograph of Lieutenant 33 of the East Siberian Rifle Regiment Zulfugar-bey Bagirbekov was placed, who fought bravely in the February battles and was shell-shocked.
Returning from Port Arthur , he served in the New Bayazet Infantry Regiment of the 52nd Infantry Division with the rank of staff captain [2] .
During the First World War, he participated in battles on the Austro-Romanian front.
A contemporary of Zulfugar bey, one of the leaders of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan Nagi-bey Sheikhzamanli in his book “Memoirs” published in Turkey , writes that during the First World War the Zulfugar bey Bagirbekov family was informed that he died in 1916 on the Caucasian Front , in on the outskirts of Alti - from a stray bullet.
