Description
The armor at the front of the hull could be in the range of 137–203 mm in thickness and the tower should have been 152 mm thick maximum on all sides. Like the French project AMX 50 , the tank had to have a swinging turret feature and also had to get a 120 mm cannon. The experiments were also conducted with the aim of studying the capabilities of the tank, being able to have a 203-mm cannon, but soon turned out to be impracticable. When several problems were discovered in the turret system due to the excess weight of the heavily armored turret and gun, the project was canceled.
Project Timeline
