Biography
Sattar Mirza Ali oglu Akhundov was born on December 5, 1914 in the village of Alykhanly in the Jebrail district . Here, seven years old, he went to the village school. In 1942 he graduated from the Azerbaijan Lenin Pedagogical Institute in Baku .
Sattar Akhundov is widely known as a playwright. Literary activity was engaged in 1941 , writing the play "Impassable ravine" , dedicated to the military.
Sattar Akhundov died on September 11 in 1994 in Baku .
Creativity
Since 1934, C. Akhundov has been systematically studying Azerbaijani folklore.
