6P45C - four - electrode electronic vacuum lamp (output beam tetrode ).
Content
General data
It was used in television equipment for output cascades of horizontal scanning of color TVs with a screen diagonal of 59-61 cm and a deviation angle of 90-110 degrees, as well as in output stages of low-frequency amplifiers and amateur short-wave transmitters . A very close analogue of the European lamp EL509 [1] , but not a copy of it (it differs in the design of the cathode-heating unit and has a fundamentally different grid design). The most powerful lamp for household appliances. Replaced the lamp 6P42S, which had insufficient reliability [2] . It exceeded the GU-50 in output power at a lower voltage at the anode. Among the receiving-amplifying lamps, it has the largest permissible anode current of 0.8 A, and the emissivity of the cathode of the new lamp allows the current to reach 1.2 A. One of the last lamps developed in the USSR for household appliances.
The cathode is oxide, indirectly heated. It works in any position. It was produced in a glass baseless design. Service life - not less than 500 hours [3] . Pin base type Magnoval. Shtyrkov 9. The reliability of 6P45S lamps was very different depending on the manufacturing plant and the characteristics of the batch. A significant number of lamps did not work out and the designated service life, but there were many copies that served many thousands of hours. During the years of the mass distribution of ULPTST TVs, the 6P45S lamp was especially scarce and TV owners often purchased it for the future (often not one), despite the high price for those years - about 6 rubles in the early 1980s (until April 1, 1991 - 9 rubles).
