Geography
Büksøy is located about 19 kilometers northeast of Chatellerault, on the Creuse river, which forms the eastern border of the commune. In the immediate vicinity of Buxoy are the communes of Descartes - in the north and east, Abiyi in the southeast, Saint-Remy-sur-Creuse in the south and Les Ormes in the west.
