Description
The length of the females is from 1.7 to 2.1 mm (males 1.4 mm). The main body color is brown; clypeus , scapus , propleron breast and legs yellow. The antennae of females are thin, filiform, composed of 20-21 segments (18 in males). The length of the front wing of females is from 2.3 to 2.8 mm (2 mm in males). The first abdominal tergite is stalked (petiol short). The lower lip is composed of 3 segments. Presumably, like other species of the genus, parasitize on bugs. The species was first described in 2017 by American entomologists Helmuth Aguirre, Scott Richard Shaw (University of Wyoming, Department of Ecosystem Science and Management, Laramie, Wyoming, USA ) and Luis Felipe Ventura De Almeida (Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Departamento de Ecologia e Ecologia Biologia Evolutiva, São Carlos, Brazil ). The species was named after the British hymenopterologist Paul Paul Hanson , one of the pioneers in the study of the fauna of hymenopteran insects of Costa Rica [1] [2] .
