History

The start of the first turbine unit of the Sterlitamak TPP took place in September 1957. In December 1967, the ninth turbine unit with a capacity of 100 MW was put into commercial operation - the largest heating turbine in the republic at that time [1] .

During the reform of the electric power industry in Russia, the Sterlitamak TPP was separated from Bashkirenergo into LLC Bashkir Generating Company , which was included in the perimeter of Inter RAO Holding in 2012 [2] .

Description

The Bashkir energy system operates as part of the Ural energy system . At the beginning of 2015, the installed electric capacity of the Sterlitamak TPP is 345 MW or 7% of the total capacity of the region’s power plants. Electricity generation in 2014 amounted to 1589.9 million kWβ‹…h [3] .

Sterlitamak TPP operates in the mode of combined generation of electric and thermal energy. It is the main source of thermal energy for the district heating system of Sterlitamak. In 2014, the supply of thermal energy amounted to 1,799.5 thousand Gcal, including 730.1 thousand Gcal - steam to industrial consumers [4] .

The thermal scheme of the thermal power station is cross-linked to a fresh steam pressure of 9.0 and 13.0 MPa. The main equipment includes [4] :

  • energy (steam) boilers;
  • six turbo units :
    • PT-25-90 / 10;
    • 2 x PT-60-130 / 13;
    • 2 x P-50-130 / 13;
    • T-100-130.
