Fe ( fr. Féy ) is a commune in the northeast of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardenne - Lorraine ), Moselle department , Metz district , Côte de Moselle canton [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Verni ( Metz-Campan district).

Geographical position
The commune is located 280 km east of Paris and 10 km southwest of Metz [3] . Localities located nearby: Corny-sur-Moselle , Marjolles and Onyi .
The area of the commune is 5.66 km², the population is 590 people [4] (2006) with an upward trend: 660 people [5] (2013), the population density is 116.6 people / km². Previously part of Lorraine .

Economics
In 2010, out of 392 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 302 were economically active , 90 inactive (activity indicator 77.0%, in 1999 - 72.1%). Of the 302 active able-bodied residents, 289 people worked (149 men and 140 women), 13 were unemployed (8 men and 5 women). Among the 90 able-bodied inactive citizens, 37 were pupils or students , 31 - pensioners , and another 22 - were inactive due to other reasons [9] [10] .
