Graduated from Kazakh State University (I960). He worked as the principal of the school, then as the district inspector of the department of public education. Since 1951 - permanent head of the Uyghur departments of the publishing houses "Zhazushi" ("Writer") and "Kazgoslitizdat".
The first stories (“First Steps”, “Signs of Spring”, “Good Luck”, “Atamkul from the Other World”) were included in the collection Dostyk (Friendship, 1952). The first book, the story “Halykzharshysy” (“Herald of the People”), published in 1957 and together with the following publications, the novels “Morning Breeze” (1969) and “Flame” (1971), is considered “a significant contribution to the development of the post-war Uyghur literature [1] . ”
With the name of Zh. Bosakov, who wrote the novel-dilogy “Whirlpool” (1964) and “Teacher” (1975), the origin of the Uyghur novel is connected [2] . In the first part of the dilogy, Bosakov truthfully describes the hard life of the villagers during the years of Soviet collectivization , in the second - the life of the rural intelligentsia in the modern author of Kazakhstan.
Zh. Bosakov also successfully tried himself in drama: the plays “Kaynam” (1967) and “Nazugum” (1980) were staged on the stage of the Republican Uyghur Theater .
Zh. Bosakov combined literary work for a long time with translations into the Uighur language of books by fellow writers - Soviet writers. So, he translated the works of the Stalin Prize laureates in literature M. S. Bubenov , T. Z. Semushkin , I. P. Shamyakin , Yu. P. German [2] ; however, Bosakov translated not only officially recognized writers, whose publication in Uyghur in his time was guaranteed, for example, he translated into Uzbek Uyghur the long-time-banned Uzbek writer A. Kadyri .
