The flag was approved by the decision of the Tselinnaya District Duma of March 16, 2016 No. 330 [1] and entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration number 10927. The flag of Tselinny District reproduces the composition of the coat of arms of Tselinny District in green, red and yellow.

The flag of Tselinny district is a rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3.
In green and scarlet, cut and tilted-rafter broken without a number, the field is two golden wheat ears .
Symbolization Justification
The scarlet (red) color of the field repeats the color of the field of the Russian coat of arms .
The emerald (green) color of the field repeats the color of the coat of arms of the Kurgan region .
The overturned red-green rafters symbolize involvement in the state border and reveal the history of the formation of the region, the mass settlement of which began from the moment of the strengthening of the border of the Russian Empire in this area of the territory.

2015 Flag
By the decision of Tselinnaya District Duma of September 10, 2015 No. 294 [2] , the flag of Tselinny District was approved: a rectangular panel, the width and length of which are correlated as 2: 3, divided diagonally into 2 equal halves (top left) - emerald (green) and (bottom right) - azure (blue) color. In the center is a border post with alternating stripes of red and light green. To the left and right of the base of the pillar, two yellow ears of bread rise to its top.
Justification of the 2015 flag symbolism
The emerald (green) color of the shield repeats the color on the flag of the Kurgan region . In addition, it symbolizes rich grasslands and water meadows.
The azure (blue) color of the shield symbolizes the Uy and Tobol rivers, along the banks of which the Tselinny district was formed.
The border post reveals the history of the formation of the region, the mass settlement of which began from the moment the border of the Russian Empire was strengthened in this section of the territory.
