The women's 60 meters final was held on March 19, 2016. Two owners of the best result of the season in the world, Barbara Pierre and Daphne Schippers were in the decisive race on the neighboring tracks. The start was better for an American woman, while her opponent after the starting meters was one of the last. In the distance, Schippers won back meters by meters, but she could not get Pierre - only a silver medal [3] .
