Paolo Vella ( Italian: Paolo Vella , born April 25, 1950 in Caltagirone ) is an Italian politician, member of the Italian Forward from the Italian Chamber of Deputies.

Biography
An architect by education. He lives and works in Alghero . Previously, he served as director of the Office of Landscape Protection in the Sardinia Region. The dismissal from this position led to a quarrel between Vella and the president of the region, Renato Soru , who signed the order to dismiss Vella [1] . Elected to the Italian Chamber of Deputies on April 29, 2008 following the results of parliamentary elections from the XXVI constituency of Sardinia according to the list of the People of Freedom party; replaced in the list from Sardinia deputy Gianfranco Fini , who went to another constituency. Vella scored 99.76% of the vote based on electronic voting and became the fourth deputy to win elections by electronic voting [2] .
Re-elected following the 2013 parliamentary elections . Since November 16, 2013 he has been a member of the Forward Italy Party, which formed after the collapse of the People of Freedom [3] [4] . Sits in the VIII commission (on environment, land and public works) from May 7, 2013 .
