Daniel Harms Award

Prize of Daniil Kharms in the field of literature and art (MPH) - Russian national award. The founder of the PDH is the writer Alexander Mars, the founders are private individuals. The aim of the award is to identify and promote the works of innovative, avant-garde and progressive authors.

The prize is awarded annually for achievements in those fields of art and genres of art, most of which Harms himself succeeded. Presented on December 30, Harms' birthday.

In 2017, the main prize of the Harms Prize was awarded to director Kirill Serebrennikov . The second - to the artist Sergey Shnurov (half of the hole from the Donut MPH was recalled, because it turned out that Shnurov was not directly the author-performer of the works, but only their concepts).

The first winner of the MPC in 2016 was the poet Vladimir Erl . The second prize was awarded to the artist Pavel Lemtybozh .

The Prize organizing committee also engages in research and public work related to Harms and the Russian avant-garde . In particular, he established the alleged burial place of Kharms, proposed a cenotaph design for Kharms and the Russian avant-garde, whose graves were lost.
