Biography
Born in the village. Elshanka of the Komsomolsky district (now - Karabalyksky district ) of the Kustanai region.
Grew without a father - Mukan Zhaksalykov did not return from the front. The mother of Dameli Mervet (Meer) Zhaksalykov (born in 1905) was left alone with three daughters: Sarvar (or Saruar; born in 1936), Damely and Kulzada (born in 1942).
She graduated from high school, worked in the village. Yelshanka, who was the Fifth Department of the Kustanai grain farm.
March 7, 1960 awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor. [2]
Her name and production achievements are mentioned in a speech by Nikita Khrushchev at a meeting of agricultural leaders in the Tselin region (Akmolinsk, March 14, 1961):
“The young pig of the Kustanaysky state farm, Damel Zhaksalykova, achieved great results. She works wonderfully and sets an example for our youth. She is awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor. (Applause.) Think, comrades, she is the first Kazakh girl to respond to the party’s call. , went to work for a pig farm. Last year, Damelya raised 1277 pigs and achieved an average daily gain of 600 grams, but she had a hard time. At first, her relatives disapproved of her act. But the girl had the courage not only to discard age-old prejudices, but also to convince their relatives. " [3]
Introduced automatic drinking bowls and self-feeders, the first applied the method of group livestock maintenance.
She married fellow villager Ivan Rogalsky (Rogolsky), who worked as a tractor driver. Together they raised three sons: Eugene (born in 1960, died in 1993), Yuri and Valery (both died in 2001). [4] [5]
The last mention of Damela Mukanovna in books and the central press dates back to 1963. She worked at the pig farm until she retired.
