About the album
Danzig was recorded at Atlantic Recording Studios and Chung King Metal.
The re-recorded version of Mother’s song, with an overlay and renamed Mother '93, became a hit on the radio and MTV in 1993-94, after the video for this song appeared. [3] [5] Later this song appeared in a variety of heavy metal and hard rock collections, as well as in computer games Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas , True Crime: New York City , in games of the Guitar Hero series , and in FEAR 3 . In 2013, Mother became part of the soundtrack of the film Bachelor Party: Part III .
Initially, the songs “Twist of Cain” and “Possession” were written for the previous group by Glenn Danzig Samhain . [6]
