The Weight of These Wings is the sixth studio album of American country singer Miranda Lambert , released on November 18, 2016 at RCA Nashville , consisting of two discs (disc 1 - The Nerve , disc 2 - The Heart ) [8] . Participated in the recording of the album. The disc debuted at No. 1 on the American country charts Top Country Albums (becoming the 6th disc No. 1 on the country charts) and at position No. 3 on the nationwide Billboard 200 charts [9] . Many music critics named one of the best albums of 2016 [10] .

History
The main content of the album is inspired by Lambert’s breakup with ex-husband Blake Shelton and her current relationship with musician Anderson East [11] .
The album received positive reviews from music critics and publications, was named one of the best albums for the whole of 2016 [10] . The Weight of These Wings debuted at No. 1 on the American country chart Billboard Country Albums (becoming the 6th disc No. 1 on the country chart) and at position No. 3 on the Billboard 200 multi-genre hit chart with a circulation of 133,000 equivalent album units ( including 122,000 true sales) [9] [12] [9] . This is Lambert's fifth consecutive album, debuting in the top ten on the Billboard 200, following Platinum (No. 1, 2014), Four the Record (No. 3, 2011), Revolution (No. 8, 2009) and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (No. 6, 2007) [9] . In the second week of release, the album, with a circulation of 36,000 more, dropped to No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart [13] . By December 2016, the album's circulation exceeded 197,000 copies in the United States [14] .
The song “ Vice ” was released as a lead single on July 18, 2016. In the first week, 64,000 copies were sold and the single reached No. 2 on the Country Chart Hot Country Songs [15] As of November 2016, it has sold 397,000 copies in the United States. [16] . The song is nominated for a 2017 Grammy Award in the Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song categories [17] . Rolling Stone magazine named “Vice” one of the best songs of 2016 in its final list of “50 Best Songs of 2016” (No. 31) [18] .
