The house of the governor, N. A. Tunev, is a monument of historical and architectural heritage in the village of Bilimbay, Sverdlovsk Region . Currently, the house has a post office in Russia .

Geography
The monument is located at the village of Bilimbay in the “ Urban District of Pervouralsk ” on Ordzhonikidze Street, Building 1, at the intersection of Ordzhonikidze Street (formerly Tserkovnaya Street) and Bakhchivandzhi, opposite the Trinity Church [1] , is oriented to Ordzhonikidze Street, from which side there was the main entrance earlier .
History
Nikolai Alexandrovich Tunev
Nikolai Alexandrovich was born on October 19, 1847 (baptized on October 23, 1847), place of birth: Dobriansky Zavod , in the family of a free-released clerk Alexander Ivanovich Tunev and Anna Pavlovna Tuneva [2] . He studied at the Imperial Moscow Technical School (IMTU) in 1871-1879, where he was awarded the title "engineer-technologist". He studied with his brothers Mikhail Alexandrovich, who graduated from IMTU in 1868 as a “master scientist” and was identified as the head of the flash and pudding-welding production at the Ochersky factory of Countess Stroganova, and Pavel Alexandrovich, who studied IMTU in 1868–71 and was awarded the title "Mechanic builder" [3] . Nikolai Aleksandrovich after his studies was sent to the Bilimbayevsky factory of Countess Stroganova, where he then became the plant manager.
On November 8, 1892, Nikolai Alexandrovich married Glafira Mikhailovna Berenova (1870—?), Who organized the first amateur theater in the village of Bilimbay with 150 seats in a three-story factory building. She herself played on stage and attracted others to participate in the initiative [4] .
In 1899, Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev called Nikolai Alexandrovich Bilimbaevskiy as the “most enlightened, thoughtful, and experienced” manager. In 1905, Nikolai Alexandrovich retired after leaving the post of plant manager. In October 1919, the founder of the provincial archive (GASO) N.G. Strizhev for the purpose of collecting information on the history of the village of Bilimbay. In 1925, Nikolai Alexandrovich died and was buried at the old Bilimbayevsky cemetery [5] .
Plant Manager House
The house was built in the 19th century and belonged to the manager of the Bilimbayevsky iron foundry and ironworks Nikolai Alexandrovich Tunev. At that time the house was in the middle of the park, which went to the shore of the pond and rested on the right into a dam, behind which there was a plant below.
In July 1899, during an expedition to the Urals, DI Mendeleev was at lunch at the house of Tunev [6] . There is a photograph of Mendeleev and Tunev on the background of this house [7] .
Until 2017, the post office of Russia was located in the house [1] .
In February 2017, a decision was made to classify the “House of Governor N. A. Tunev” as monuments of historical and architectural heritage of regional importance as “a unique complex for the Russian Federation, combining the fusion of historical, architectural and military historical heritage, forming a single cultural and cultural historical museum cluster of federal significance ” [8] . And by order of the Department of State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sverdlovsk Region No. 363 dated 10.25.2017, the building was included in the List of Identified Cultural Heritage Objects located in the Sverdlovsk Region [9] .
Description
The wooden one-story house has a compact size and a rectangular plan configuration. A wooden log house is folded “in the paw” and placed on a stone foundation (brick). The composition of the main facade (western) has a three-part division scheme. The side parts are structurally identified by the release of logs, the position of which corresponds to the cross-bearing walls of the log, interpreted as blades. The northern facade of the house faces Bakhchivandzhi street. From the side of this facade is now located the entrance, which is an extension with a porch of eight steps.
The windows are decorated with frames with sawn threads. The roof, part of the eastern facade, decorative elements of the upper part of the house were lost due to fire.
The interiors have preserved historic stucco, doors with panels , and stoves with tiles .
Bilimbaya Landmark
The house is built in the style of eclecticism . The image of the House of Governor N. A. Tunev is associated with the history of the village of Bilimbay [10] [11] .
Town History Museum
In the near future, it is planned to create a museum of the history of the village in the House of Governor N. A. Tunev, which is currently huddled in school No. 23, and to open a center of folk crafts to create the Bilimbayevskaya clay toy [6] .
