Biography

Born in 1911 into a peasant family in the village of Uluscherga (today - Shebalinsky district of Altai Territory). He began to work at the age of 15. Together with his father he carried horse-drawn transport to Mongolia. In 1930 he joined the local collective farm. He continued to carry collective farm cargo from Biysk along the Chuysky tract . In 1937, he moved with his family to the village of Inya, where he enrolled in a driver’s course, after which he became a driver of the ZIS-5 cargo truck at the Ininsky motor depot, and then at the Sovmongtuvtorg trade association. In 1942 he was called up for service in the Red Army. He served in the Siberian Military District.

After demobilization, he returned to Biysk in 1946, where he began to work as a driver in the Sovmongoltorg association. Since 1958 he lived in the village of Shebalino , where he worked until his retirement at the line point of the Chuysky tract of the Sovato-Biysk motor transport association. Provided trade transportation between Mongolia and the Altai Territory. One of the first in the enterprise to mastered driving road trains.

He ahead of schedule fulfilled the tasks of the seven-year plan (1959-1965) and his personal socialist obligations for the transportation of goods. By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the USSR of October 5, 1966, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal “ Hammer and Sickle ” for outstanding achievements in fulfilling the tasks of the seven-year plan for the transportation of household goods and passengers, construction, repair and maintenance of roads. ".

After retiring, he lived in Biysk. Died in November 1999.
