Biography

Born December 19, 1908 in Ermolaevka, Ubinsky District, Novosibirsk Region, in a working class family. Russian. Member of the CPSU since 1931. He graduated from the 4th grade of a rural school (1919), a general school for adults (1928), a secondary school as an external student (1938), the Omsk Infantry School (1934), and the Military Academy named after M.V. . Frunze (1941), Military Academy of the General Staff with a gold medal (1950).

Army Service

In the Red Army since October 1930. The service began as an ordinary. After graduating from the school, he was the platoon and company commander of the 73rd Infantry Division of the Siberian Military District . The war found him in the position of chief of the operational department of the headquarters of the 178th Infantry Division on the North-Western Front.

From April 1942 until the end of the war - in turn: the chief of staff of the 381st , 29th , 16th infantry divisions on the Kalinin, 1st and 2nd Baltic, Leningrad fronts. In the battles near Rzhev in September 1942 he was wounded in the arm and shell-shocked.

Since 1950 - First Deputy, since 1953 - Commander of the 51st Guards Airborne Division.

In September 1956 he was appointed deputy commander of the rifle corps in the Moscow Military District

in January 1958 he became the head of the Caucasian Red Banner Suvorov Officers' College .

In October 1966, he was transferred to the reserve.

After the Army

He lived in Moscow. He died on December 15, 1981.
