Life
Mirza Ibrahim-bek Hasan-aga oglu Agayev was born in 1801 in the city of Shusha. Literacy was taught by his father, later he entered a madrasah, where he joined the religious and other sciences. Because of his education and comprehensive knowledge, the people called him Mirza.
He was engaged in teaching. Superbly owned a pen and beautiful handwriting. Under the pseudonym "Syaba" he wrote many soulful poems.
He wrote to Mir Movsun Navvab : "Mirza Ibrahim Hasan-aga oglu is one of the most respected, revered mullahs and poets of Karabakh. He comes from Bayazid. His writings are under the pseudonym" Syaba ". Sometimes he recited poems. We know his collections of poems."
The researcher, author of the namesake (anthology) about the writers of his time, Muhammad aha Mujtehidzade, also noted the work of Mirza Ibrahim in his works.
