Biography

Born in the family of a railway worker.

He graduated from school in Kharkov (1949) and 4 courses of the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute . In 1953 he was drafted into the army and enrolled in the 5th year of the Department of Jet Weapons of the Dzerzhinsky Artillery Engineering Academy . He graduated from the academy with honors and was appointed teacher of cycle No. 2 of military unit No. 86618 (Kamyshin artillery school).

In 1956 he was transferred to Bolshevo at the Research Institute No. 4 of the USSR Ministry of Defense. He served for 33 years: a researcher, since 1968 - a senior researcher, head of the laboratory, deputy head of the department (he worked under the direction of G. S. Narimanov , P. E. Elyasberg , M. V. Melnikov ). He was engaged in research on missile defense, powder rockets, ground and airborne control systems, ballistics.

After the creation of branch 4 of the Space Research Institute (then the 50th Central Research Institute of Space Tools), he worked there as a senior researcher, head of the laboratory, deputy head of department.

In 1959-1962 graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Moscow State University. Lomonosov .

In 1967 he defended his thesis on the topic: "Analytical methods for optimal control of missile flight."

Colonel (1982).

Doctor of Technical Sciences (1982), thesis topic "Theoretical Foundations and Advanced Methods of Flexible Flight Control of the Latest Missiles." Professor (1990).

The author of more than 200 scientific papers, 22 inventions. Among his students are two doctors of technical sciences (employees of the 50 Central Research Institute GN Sharov and V.I. Velikoivanenko) and 14 candidates of technical sciences.

He participated in the creation and preparation for flight tests of the Buran space system.

Since 1989, retired. After leaving the army, he was a senior research fellow and a leading research fellow at the 50th Central Research Institute of Space Systems and the combined 4 Central Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR.

He lived in the city of Korolev, Moscow Region.
