History

Date of establishment not established. Khutor Pochta is listed in the list of settlements of the Dubovskiy district according to the directory "Regions and settlements of the Stalingrad Territory" on January 1, 1936 [2]

General physical and geographical characteristics

The farm is located in the steppe area within the Volga Upland , belonging to the East European Plain , at an altitude of about 100 meters above sea level. The terrain is hilly-flat [3] . Soils are chestnut. The parent rocks are clay and loam [4] .

Near the farm passes the federal highway P228 ( Volgograd - Saratov ). By road, the distance to the regional center of Volgograd is 74 km, to the regional center of Dubovka - 25 km, to the administrative center of the rural settlement of the village of Gornovodianoye - 6.3 km [5] .
