History

According to the Xth revision of 1857:

MARINO-VILLAGE - a village owned by Nikonova: households - 3, inhabitants: 11 m. n., a total of 26 people .; Kazimirov: households - 5, inhabitants: 7 m. n., total 15 people .; Dzheneev: households - 2, residents: 4 m. P., 3 g. n., only 7 people .; Vandysh (Nikolskaya): households - 5, inhabitants: 10 m. p., total 25 people [2]

According to the Zemstvo census of 1895:

MARINO-VILLAGE - a village, former Nikonova peasants: households - 4, inhabitants: 14 m., 15 w. n., a total of 29 people .; former peasants of the Kazimirovs: households - 4, inhabitants: 12 m. n., total 21 people .; former Dzheneyev peasants: households - 2, residents: 5 m. n., total 11 people .; former state peasants Vandysh (Nikolskaya): households - 7, inhabitants: 17 m. p., total 34 people [2]

In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Verkhovsk-Volsky volost of the 1st zemsky district of the 3rd camp of the Ustyuzhensky district of the Novgorod province .

According to the military topographic map of the Novgorod province of the 1917 edition, the village consisted of 16 peasant households [4] .

From 1917 to 1927, the village was part of the Soviet volost of the Ustyuzhensky district of the Cherepovets province .

Since 1927, as part of the Potoksky Village Council of the Efimovsky District [5] .

According to 1933, the village of Maryino Selo was part of the Potoksky Village Council of the Efimovsky District [6] .

Since 1965, as part of the Boksitogorsky district. In 1965, the population of the village was 119 people [5] .

According to the data of 1966 and 1973, the village of Maryino Selo was also part of the Potoksky village council [7] [8] .

According to 1990, the village of Maryino Selo was part of the Podborovsky village council [9] .

In 1997, 39 people lived in the village of Maryino, the Village of Podborovo Volost, in 2002 - 29 people (Russian - 97%) [10] [11] .

In 2007, in the village of Maryino, the village of Podborovsky rural settlement lived 19 people, in 2010 - 15 people [12] [13] .

Since June 2, 2014 - as part of the newly created Lida rural settlement of Boksitogorsky district [14] .

Geography

The village is located in the eastern part of the district on the highway 41K-033 ( Somino - Oleshi ).

The distance to the village of Podborovye is 6 km [12] .

The distance to the nearest railway station is Podborovye - 7 km [7] .

The Oblomna River flows through the village.
