Karl Wilhelm Salice-Contessa ( German: Karl Wilhelm Salice-Contessa ; August 19, 1777 , Jelenia Gora - June 2, 1825 , Berlin ) is a German novelist and playwright . The younger brother of Christian Jacob Salice-Contessa .

He wrote short stories - “Zwei Erzählungen” (B., 1815), “Erzählungen” (Dresd., 1819) - and plays for the stage (“Das Rätsel”, “Magister Rösslein”, “Der unterbrochene Schwätzer”, “Der Findling”, "Talisman"). Especially famous are his "Kindermärchen" (Berl., 1816-1817), published in collaboration with Fuke and Hoffmann . Contessa was also engaged in landscape painting; Hoffmann brought him out in his " Serapion Brothers " (Sylvester). His Sämmtliche Schriften was published in Leipzig (1826).
