Biography
A native of Khmelnitsky region. After graduating from the Odessa Pedagogical Institute, he worked until the beginning of the 1941 war as a school principal in the village of Dzygovka, Yampolsky district, Vinnitsa region. He was evacuated to the eastern regions of the USSR.
Member of the CPSU (b) since 1941 .
After returning from evacuation in 1944-1948 - 2nd secretary, in 1948-1950 - 1st secretary of the Trostyanetsky district committee of the CP (b) U, in 1950-1951 - 1st secretary of the Tulchin district committee of the CP (b) U (Vinnytsia region).
In 1951-1952 - Secretary of the Vinnitsa Regional Committee of the KP (b) U, in 1952-1953 - Deputy Chairman of the Vinnitsa Regional Executive Committee.
From 1953 - 2nd Secretary, from November 1954 - Secretary of the Vinnytsia Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine; 1st Secretary of the Vinnytsia Municipal Committee of the Communist Party.
From January 1963 - Secretary of the Vinnytsia Rural Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine, from December 1964 - Secretary, from January 1966 to 1973 - 2nd Secretary of the Vinnytsia Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
In the years 1973-1975 - Chairman of the Vinnitsa Regional Committee of People's Control.

Grandson - A. Yu. Furman , chairman of the Vinnitsa regional organization of the Svoboda party.
