Parliament ( French Le Parlement ) is the legislative body of Côte d'Ivoire ; the two-chamber parliament consists of the upper house - the Senate and the lower - the National Assembly . Until 2016, the parliament was single-chamber, but after the approval of the new Constitution, two chambers were formed in the 2016 referendum [1] [2] .
