Biography
In 1902-1906 he studied painting at the National School of Fine Arts of Bucharest under the direction of George Demetrescu Mirea . After receiving a scholarship, he continued his studies in Paris at the Julian Academy on the course of Jean-Paul Laurent . Among his fellow students there were many subsequently well-known Romanian artists, including Jean Alexander Steriadi , Ion Theodorescu-Sion , Camille Ressu .
A year later, he studied at the School of Fine Arts ( École des Beaux-Arts ) at Luc-Olivier Merson .
He traveled to Europe, lived in the south of France ( Toulon and Saint-Tropez , 1908), in Venice (1909). In 1913 in Romania he returned to his homeland, he lived in Balchik South Dobrudja (1919).
In 1917, N. Darascu, together with other young Romanian artists and sculptors - Camille Ressu , Oscar Gan , Stefan Dimitrescu , Joseph Iser , Marius Bunescu , Dimitri Paciurea , Cornell Medri and Ion Jal - organized Roman Roman art art in Iasi )
He maintained constant contacts with artists from other European countries, visited major art museums, in search of new forms of artistic expression.

In 1910, exhibited his self-portrait at an exhibition of the Paris Society of French Artists. In 1936, organized a solo exhibition, which exhibited 86 works.
