The nickname means "scientist," "sage." Whether he and his brother David reigned , it is not clear from the annals. He was engaged in science. According to the life, he died a virgin - not later than 1321 .

Honoring the Russian Orthodox Church

It is revered by the Russian Church as the holy noble prince and Yaroslavl miracle worker, memory is committed (according to the Julian calendar ): March 5 ( gaining relics ), May 23 (Cathedral of the Rostov Saints) and September 19. His relics , the relics of his father Theodore and brother David were found in the Transfiguration Cathedral in 1463 . In the city of Yaroslavl in the monastery of St. Savior lay three great princes, Prince Theodore Rostislavich and his children Davyd and Konstantin, lay on top of the earth. The very Grand Duke Theodore himself was a tall man, those of him, the sons David and Constantine, lay under his bosoms, and were less than his height. They lay in a single coffin.
