Kirpeni ( Kirpeni ; Latvian. Ķirpēni ) is a settlement in the Dobele region of Latvia . It is part of the Aur volost . Located on the P103 ( Dobele - Bauska ) highway. Dobele is about 13 km away. According to data for 2015, 277 people lived in the village [1] .

History
In Soviet times, the settlement was part of the Bitsky Village Council of the Dobelsky District . In the village there was a livestock farm “Kronauce” [2] .
