George Wisacki ( Serb. Ишorђe Višacki ; April 2, 1975 , Belgrade ) - Serbian Yugoslav rower , played for the national rowing teams of Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro in the second half of the 1990s - the first half of the 2000s. Participant in the Sydney Summer Olympics, silver and bronze medalist of the World Championships, winner and medalist of the World Cup, winner and medalist of many regattas of national importance. Also known as a sports functionary, Secretary General of the Olympic Committee of Serbia .

Biography
George Wisacki was born on April 2, 1975 in Belgrade . At first, he trained at the local Partisan club in the capital, later went to study and train in the USA at the University of California at Berkeley , and was a member of the University of California Golden Bears rowing club. Repeatedly won various student competitions.
He made his debut in the international arena back in 1994, played at the Nations Cup in France and the Netherlands. In 1995, he attended the World Championships in Finnish Tampere, where, nevertheless, he was far from being among the winners. He achieved his first serious success at the adult international level in the 1998 season, when he joined the main team of the Yugoslav national team and took part in the world championship in Cologne, from where he brought the bronze dignity award won in the standings of oar wheelless twos.
Thanks to a series of successful performances, Wisacki was awarded the right to defend the country's honor at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney . I started here in the standings of the steering wheelless doubles together with teammate Nikolai Stoich - they qualified from the first place in the preliminary stage, then they took second place at the semi-final stage, while in the decisive final race they showed the fifth result at the finish.
After the Sydney Olympics, George Vishacki remained in the main team of the rowing team of Serbia and Montenegro, continuing to take part in major international regattas. So, in 2001, at the World Championships in Swiss Lucerne, he won a silver medal in wheelless deuces. The following season was awarded a bronze medal at the World Cup in Munich. The last time showed any significant result in the international arena in the 2004 season, when he performed at the world championship in the Spanish Banyoles and took the fourth place in swing doubles with a steering, not reaching the prize positions. Soon after the end of these competitions, he decided to end the career of a professional athlete, giving way to young Serbian rowers in the national team.
Since March 2009, he has been the Secretary General of the Olympic Committee of Serbia .
