Muhammad Abdel Monim ( February 20, 1899 - December 1, 1979 ) - Egyptian statesman and politician. Son of Abbas II Hilmi . Regent of the Kingdom of Egypt during the reign of Ahmed Fuad II .

Biography
- Born February 20, 1899 in the family of the Khedive Abbas II Hilmi , he became Crown Prince of Egypt and Sudan.
- In 1914, after the removal of his father and the coming to power of Hussein, Camille Muhammad was demoted to the line of succession.
- In 1922, he served as president of the Egyptian Olympic Committee.
- From 1934 to 1938 he again served as president of the Egyptian Olympic Committee.
- In 1939 he became head of the Arab delegation at the Palestinian Conference in London .
- After the overthrow of Farouk I July 26, 1952, he was appointed chairman of the council of regents under the infant king Fuad II .
- On September 7, 1952, the council was dissolved and Muhammad became the sole ruler.
- On June 18, 1953 the monarchy was abolished and Egypt became a republic.
- In 1957, he was arrested with his family, but released after the intervention of the President of Turkey.
- He went into exile in France where he lived until 1963.
- In 1963, the family moved to Turkey.
- He died on December 1, 1979 in Istanbul.

Family
He married on September 26, 1940 in Cairo, on Fatma Neslishah Osmanoglu , the granddaughter of the last Ottoman sultan Mehmed VI (maternal) and the last Ottoman caliph Abdul-Majid II (paternal). Two children were born in the marriage:
- Sultanzade Abbas Hilmi (b. October 16, 1941, Cairo)
- Iqbal Hilmi Abdulmonim Khanymsultan (b. December 22, 1944)
