Biography

Milos Stanojevic was born on May 27, 1984 in Belgrade . He began to actively engage in rowing at the age of thirteen in 1997, trained at the Galeb rowing club in the capital.

He made his international debut in 2006, taking part in the youth world championship in the Belgian Khatsevinkel. The following season, he was already in the adult rowing team of Serbia and for the first time played at the World Cup in rowing.

The first serious success at the adult international level was achieved in the 2009 season, when he joined the main squad of the Serbian national team and attended the European Championship in Belarus Brest, from where he brought the bronze dignity prize, won in the classification of light-weight swinging quadruples of lightweight together with partners Nemanj Nesic , Nenad Babovic and Milos Tomic - only the teams from France and Germany finished better than them.

In 2011, Stanoevich played with the same partners at the European Championship in Bulgarian Plovdiv, where he again became a bronze medalist in the light four without a helmsman, this time they were beaten by the national teams of Italy and the Czech Republic. A year later, at the European Championships in the Italian Varese, he added another bronze medal in the lightweight four-wheelless quadruples won with Nenad Babovic, Milos Tomic and Nikola Selakovic - in the final they managed to overtake all the crews except Italian and British.

Thanks to a series of successful performances in 2015, Milos Stanojevic won the right to defend the country's honor at the world championships in Eglebett-le-Lac - started here in lightweight solo, reached the main final “A” and finished third, thereby winning a bronze medal. At the 2016 World Championships in Rotterdam, he was sixth in the same discipline. I tried to qualify for the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in the non-steering oar lightweight fours, but at the qualifying regatta in Swiss Lucerne did not even reach the finals with his crew.
