Necroshine

Necroshine is the tenth studio album by the American thrash metal band Overkill , released in 1999 under the label CMC International. The album was re-released in 2003 along with From the Underground and Below as part of a box set .

About the album

This is the first album of the band, which includes guest participation - Sister Bobby Ellsworth Mary Ellsworth sang backing vocals on the song "Let Us Prey"; they also sang a duet on "Revelation". The song β€œNecroshine” was performed by the group at almost every subsequent concert [1] . Allmusic put the album three stars out of 5; The overall tone of the review was positive. Critics and fans of the album is considered the most experimental in the work of the group [2] .

As of November 1999, the group sold about 20,500 copies in the United States [3] .
