At the beginning of the battle, Casamayor preferred to act on counterattacks, giving his opponent the right to work in the “first number”. Malakhbekov several times managed to get an opponent with jabs and a shock left hand, but the Cuban made more accurate hits and won the first round with a score of 5-4. In the second round, the Cuban boxer fully seized the initiative. He worked productively at medium range, confidently intercepting Russian attacks and striking Malakhbekov with hard blows from both hands. As a result, before the final round, Hoel's advantage reached 8 points (12: 4). But in the third three-minute continuous attacking Russian managed to break the opponent. Accented strikes on the left by Malakhbekov contributed to a significant decrease in Cuban activity. As a result, Casamayor, who won 20 seconds before the final gong with a margin of 4 points, failed to keep the winning score, conceding decisive blows and losing the fight with a 16:17 score. [1] .
