History
On January 20, 1986, the city government issued a permit for the construction of a church to a priest, Stanislav Rog. The project of the future church and pastoral corps was developed by a group of local architects and engineers, led by architect Anthony Hermann and engineer Tadeusz Lipsky. First, a chapel was erected on the site of the future temple, which on November 29 of that year was dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua. At the same time in the chapel the first service was held . On December 4, 1986, the ordinary Bishop of Lublin, Boleslav Pilak, consecrated a building site, a cross and a chapel during a divine service at the site of the future church [2] .
Construction work on the site began with the construction of a catechization and plebania center in July 1987. In December 1988, the auxiliary Lyulensky bishop, consecrated the catechization center. On June 10, 1990, Bishop Boleslav Pilak laid the foundation stone for the future temple. Two years later, the first church service was held within the walls of the church that was still under construction. On November 27, 1993, the enthronement ceremony of the cross took place. In 1995, an organ was installed in the temple, and a statue of Our Lady of Fatima was placed in front of the temple itself. All work on the construction of the church was completed by the year 2000, and on October 29, 2000, the Lyulensky Archbishop Jozef иiqiński solemnly consecrated the church. The modern church and parish complex consists of the nave, the bell tower, the chapel of the Mother of God and the Polish Saints and Blessed, a catechesis center with plebania and a square [2] .
