Heikki Haravee ( Est. Heiki Haravee , until 13.02.1939 Huusmann ; April 29, 1924 [1] , Tallinn - January 23, 2003, Tartu) - Estonian Soviet artist. Honored Artist of the Estonian SSR (1978) [2] , Honorary Member of the Estonian Association of Actors.

Biography

He graduated from the 2nd Tallinn Gymnasium in 1943, in 1949 - the State Theater Institute of the Estonian SSR , among his teachers were Ants Lauter , Priit Pildroos , Leo Kalmet , Felix Moor . From 1961 to 1962 he studied at the Lunacharsky State Institute of Theater Arts .

He served in the South Estonian Theater (1949-1951), in the Endle Theater - the Parnu Drama Theater (1952-1960) and the Vanemuine Theater in Tartu (1960-2003).

The Soviet audience remembered the role of Walter - a sadist - a Gestapo in the film "Option" Omega "" .

In the last years of his life, he lived in Tartu on Vanemuise Street next to the theater in which he served. He died of a stroke in his home.
