Biography

The youngest son of Pierre II de Beaufremont , Marquise de Listiné and Clervaux, and Marie de Barr.

On February 20, 1734 he was promoted to camp marshal , refused command of the company, and on April 1 he was appointed to the Rhine Army. On May 1, 1735, he was again assigned to the Rhine Army, which remained inactive until the signing of peace in October of that year.

March 1, 1738 promoted to lieutenant general, after which he retired.

He continued the lawsuit for the inheritance of Philippe-Eugene de Gorrevo , Duke de Pont-de-Vaux, begun in 1681 by his grandfather Charles-Louis de Beaufremont . In 1712, the Paris Parliament resolved a dispute in favor of the Marquis, who took possession of the rich inheritance of the house of de Gorrevo, dating back to Laurent de Gorrevo , who died in 1527.
