Biography
Born on February 23 ( March 7 ), 1863 in the village of Chernorechenskaya of the first military department of the Orenburg Cossack army . Porfiry graduated from the Orenburg Neplyuyev military school in 1880 (first grade), after which he entered the Third Alexander Military School , from which he graduated in 1883 (also first grade) [1] [2] [3] .
"Entered service" in the Russian Imperial Army in mid-August 1880. In less than three years, at the beginning of 1883, he was promoted to a coronage ( with seniority a year earlier). After two years and three months, in December 1885, he became a Cossack centurion (with seniority from the same date). Lebedev got epaulettes of shoulder straps at the beginning of May 1895 - with the wording “for distinction” and seniority from the same date. He became the esaul of the “irregular cavalry” at the turn of the century, in early July 1900. He rose to military foreman already during the First World War - in June 1915, and became a colonel after the February Revolution - at the end of September 1917. During the Civil War he was "dismissed from service due to domestic circumstances", with the rewarding of the uniform of a major general and the corresponding pension [1] [4] .
In 1887 he served in the 1st Orenburg Cossack Battery. In 1893-1894 he was listed in the 3rd Orenburg Cossack battery, after which - in 1895 and 1901 - he was again in the state of the 1st battery. In mid-January 1908 he headed the 6th Orenburg Cossack battery - he was under investigation. From 1911 to 1913 he served in the 1st Battery, and then another year - in the 2nd Orenburg Cossack Battery, which he then commanded on the Caucasus Front (1914-1917) [1] [5] .
In October 1917 he was presented for dismissal from office due to illness. From April-May 1918 he took part in the anti-Bolshevik movement: he was enlisted in the artillery troops, and also was at the disposal of the Orenburg Army Headquarters. In August he was admitted to the post of chief of the corps artillery warehouse of a separate Ural Army Corps - he was in the same position in September. Then he became the head of the artillery depots of the III Ural Army Corps [6] .
The last thing that is known about P. Lebedev is the fact of his service in the district artillery warehouse of the Kurgan Military District in 1919 [1] .
