Saidahmad Vasli Samarkandi , also known as Vasli and Vasli Samarkandi, is an Uzbek and Tajik writer , poet , journalist and enlightener . One of the famous representatives of Central Asian Jadidism .

Saidahmad Vasli Samarkandi was born in 1896 in the city of Samarkand . Received primary education in a madrasah . He worked as a muallim (teacher) in a madrasah and secular school of Jadidists. He mainly wrote poetry, as well as other literary works, wrote articles for newspapers of Jadidists, including the newspapers Samarkand , Bukhoroi Sharif , the magazine Oina, and others.
Vasli Samarkandi wrote his works and poems in Uzbek, Persian (Tajik) and Arabic. His most famous works are the Armugoni Duston sofa in Persian (Tajik), the Devoni Turk sofa in Uzbek, the collection of poems Nazm-us silsila in Persian (Tajik), Adab ud-din in Uzbek, Amal in Arabic, he is also the author of a linguistic book on the study of Arabic in Persian "Mukaddimai sarfu nahu arabi, ham namunai sarfu nahu forsy."
He died in 1925 according to some reports in Samarkand. He was personally acquainted with many Samarkand and non-Samarkand Jadidists, including Khoji Muin and Muhsin Navbogchiyoni .
