Biography
The representative of the Wallachian boyar clan is Vacarescu . The eldest son Enakitsa Vacarescu , poet, author of the first Romanian grammar. Father of Janku Vacarescu , poet, translator, leader of the national and cultural revival of Wallachia.
Their relative was Elena Vacarescu (1964-1947), a Romanian-French writer, poet, translator, and diplomat.
By order of the Wallachian Lord Alexander Muruzi , Alecu Vacarescu was exiled to Tulcea , where he died in custody due to the particularly difficult conditions imposed in the local prison.
Creativity
Poet of the mannerism era.
He wrote in Romanian and Greek. The author of anacreontic and elegiac poems. Like his father, Enakitsa Vacarescu is the founder of Romanian lyrics, which claimed the human right to feeling.
Created poetry under the influence of the works of Rigas Fereos .
Used the alias Vacarescologlu .
Most of his poems are lost.
