Biography
Born on August 11, 1962 in Uhllen ( department of Ron ). An engineer by training, she graduated from the Higher Women's Technical School in Paris, then received a doctorate in information technology from the University of Paris IX-Dauphin .
Member of the Republican Party (until 2015 - Union for the Popular Movement ). In 2001, she was elected mayor of Mont Saint-Aignan , but lost the election in 2008. In 2007, she was first elected to the French National Assembly in the 2nd constituency of the Seine-Maritime department , and was re-elected in 2012.
In 2012, Francoise Gogot actively supported Francois Fillon in his campaign for leadership in the Union for the Popular Movement party, was his press secretary. In 2014, Nicolas Sarkozy, after his election to the post of party president, appointed Francoise Gogo as national secretary for personnel policy. In February 2015, the party nominated it to the list of leaders in the regional elections in Normandy , but after deciding to merge with the Union of Democrats and Independents, Herve Moren headed the single list, and Gugo headed the list in the Seine Seine department .
During the primaries of the party, the Republicans in November 2016 supported the candidacy of Nicolas Sarkozy .
