The representative of the Polish gentry clan Olesnitsky coat of arms " Debno ". The son of Zbigniew from Olesnica (d. After 1358) and Margarita from Kurozvenok. The brothers are the elder of Vilna and judge Krakowski Jan (Yasko) from Olesnitsa (d. 1413), the Zemsky Sandomierz Zavisza from Olesnitsa (died c. 1433) and the Sandomierz trapper Peter from Krzyzanowice (d. 1434/1440).

In 1404, Dobeslav Olesnitsky accompanied the Polish king Vladislav Jagello at the congress with the great master of the Teutonic Order Konrad von Jungingen . The Grand Master organized a knightly tournament in honor of the Polish king, which was attended by Polish, Teutonic and European knights. Dobeslav Olesnitsky became famous in this tournament, defeating several Teutonic knights exhibited by the great master.

In 1410, Dobeslav Olesnitsky took part in the Battle of Grunwald with the Teutonic Knights Crusaders, where he commanded a separate banner. Together with him, his brother, the hunting Sandomierz Peter, fought. Together with the knight Jan Kobylyansky, Dobeslav Olesnitsky led the siege of Malbork , the capital of the Teutonic Order.

The owner of Rymanuv , which he obtained through marriage with Katarzyna , daughter of a subcarbium of the crown Dimitar from Goray (1340-1400).

When in 1409, the Polish king Vladislav Jagello made a trip from Kosice to Sanok , he visited Rymanow , where he was received by Dobeslav Olesnitsky. In 1413, Vashnitsky's chestnut Dobeslav Olesnitsky participated in the signing of the Gorodel Union between Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. In 1422, he was present at the signing of Jagello of Cherviny privilege. In 1430, Dobeslav Olesnitsky witnessed the signing by the king of Jagello of the Edlinsky privilege.

In 1440, the Bishop of Krakow, Zbigniew Olesnitsky , the nephew of Dobeslav Olesnitsky, visited Rymanow during his trip to Budapest . In the same year, Dobeslav Olesnitsky died.

In 1431, Dobeslav founded a stone Gothic church in Senno , the construction of which was completed in 1442 .

After the death of Dobeslav Olesnitsky, the owner of Rymanuw was his widow, Katarzyna Gorayska Olesnitskaya , then their son Andrzej Senensky and grandson Victorin Senensky.

On December 31, 1435, Dobeslav Olesnitsky participated in the signing of the Peace Treaty between the Kingdom of Poland and the Teutonic Order in Brzeцc Kuyavsky .
